ALCA6140-1500 Manual Lathe Packed and Ready for Shipment to Paraguay

Alles CNC recently completed the production, final inspection and seaworthy packing of one ALCA6140-1500 manual lathe for a customer in Paraguay. The machine has now been loaded into its export case and is ready for shipment.

The ALCA6140-1500 is a heavy-duty horizontal lathe with a 1500 mm distance between centers, a swing of Φ400 mm over the bed and a Φ52 mm spindle bore. It is designed for turning internal and external cylindrical surfaces, conical surfaces and end faces, as well as cutting metric, inch and module threads — a reliable workhorse for general machining, maintenance workshops and small-batch production.

Before packing, every machine is tested and inspected by our quality team. The spindle is run at full speed for a running-in test, the gearbox and feed mechanisms are checked, and the machine is verified against the order specification to make sure it arrives ready for production.

For safe trans-ocean transport, the lathe is protected with anti-rust and moisture-proof film and then fixed inside a fumigated plywood export case reinforced with a steel frame. The standard accessories and tool kit are packed together with the machine, and the case is fixed onto a pallet and handled with lifting equipment to ensure stability during the long journey to South America.
